Golf Simulator Installation in Atlanta, GA
Professional golf simulator installation in Atlanta. Framing, impact screen, enclosure, turf and subfloor, projection and calibration, done by people who do this for a living rather than as a weekend project. We cover Fulton County and the rest of Georgia, which sits 38th in the country for simulator search demand at an index of 17.
What A Proper Atlanta Install Involves
Ask around Atlanta and nobody complains about the golf season length. They complain about July. heat, humidity and afternoon storms make June through September a grind, and the practice that actually moves your handicap is the practice you skip because it's miserable outside. Put a bay indoors with real air conditioning and that objection disappears. We build a lot of these in Fulton County for players who golf plenty and still felt like their practice had a four month hole in it.
Local play shapes how we set these up. With East Lake Golf Club, Bobby Jones Golf Course, and Augusta National Golf Club nearby, we'll usually dial the software toward the shot shapes and club selections those layouts actually ask for.

Altitude Calibration For Atlanta
At roughly 1,050 feet, elevation isn't doing much to your ball flight in Atlanta. That's genuinely useful. It means your simulator numbers should transfer to East Lake Golf Club more or less straight across, and when they don't, you have a real problem to chase rather than an altitude offset hiding it. We set the environment field to 1,050 on handover and note it in your commissioning sheet.
The Spaces We Fit Out
The rooms that give us trouble in Atlanta are the ones where somebody bought equipment first. An overhead launch monitor in a basement that cannot carry one, a standard throw projector in a room without the throw distance, a screen sized from a catalogue rather than the wall it has to fit. We can usually work around it, and it always costs more than measuring would have.
If you have not chosen equipment yet, start with home golf simulators or the Atlanta residential page instead, then come back for the install.
Field note. Ask any installer whether calibration and a gapping session are included. If the answer is vague, the bay will be handed over uncalibrated and you will never know what your numbers actually are.
| If this is true | Then do this |
|---|---|
| The venue is in an occupied building | Structurally isolate the hitting platform, not just the walls. |
| You will charge for play | Commercial software licence. A home licence does not cover it. |
| Golf is the product | Design for throughput. Test reset time before you sign anything. |
| Guests will be first time golfers | Extend containment well past a private bay standard. |
| Dining sits next door | Acoustic separation during construction, not after opening. |
| You are staffing for June through September | That is peak in Atlanta, driven by heat, humidity and afternoon storms. Roster and stock for it. |
How A Atlanta Install Runs
We quote installation itemised. The launch monitor and any room work are separate lines because those two move the number more than everything else combined, and you should be able to see them and decide. Everything else sits in a fairly narrow band. If your Atlanta room needs a duct moved or a slab levelled, that is visible in the quote rather than buried, and you can take it on yourself if you have the trades.
| Decision | Amenity build | Revenue build |
|---|---|---|
| Screen grade | Commercial rated. Guests swing hard. | Commercial rated, replaced on schedule. |
| Acoustics | Treat if adjacent to guest rooms. | Treat always. It is the top post opening complaint. |
| Measurement accuracy | Good enough. Guests cannot tell. | Good enough, unless you also run fittings. |
| Leading priority | Reliability with zero staff support. | Throughput and reset time between groups. |
| Booking | Optional, often front desk managed. | Essential. Manual booking eats a shift. |
| Peak indoor demand | June through September in Atlanta, driven by heat, humidity and afternoon storms. | Same window, and you are selling it by the hour. |

Talk To An Installer
Send us your room dimensions and what equipment you have, if any. We come back with a scope and a real number. If you would rather we came out to Atlanta and measured properly first, the survey is free and carries no obligation. We would rather find a problem at survey stage than on install day.

Atlanta Simulator Questions
Can I use a golf simulator year round in Atlanta?
Yes, and in Atlanta the season you're really covering is summer, not winter. heat, humidity and afternoon storms make June through September rough for outdoor practice, and afternoon storms end rounds with no notice. A cooled indoor bay gives you the middle of the day back, which is the part of the calendar most golfers here have written off.
What altitude should I set my simulator to in Atlanta?
Use 1,050 feet. Simulator software defaults to sea level, and Atlanta sits well away from that, so the correction is worth making. Using the two percent per thousand feet rule of thumb, you're looking at about 2.1 percent more carry than a sea level baseline. We set this during commissioning and re-check it after software updates, because updates sometimes reset it.
Can you fix a golf simulator install that went wrong?
Frequently, yes. Stalled builds, uncalibrated handovers, turf laid straight onto concrete, projectors that shadow the golfer. Tell us what is there and we will assess it. Sometimes the fix is small, and sometimes the room was never going to work. We will tell you honestly which one you have.
Do you handle the electrical work?
We specify it and coordinate with your electrician. Most installs want a dedicated circuit, because a projector, computer, launch monitor and lighting sharing one household circuit will trip mid session. We flag the requirement at quote stage for every Atlanta job rather than working around an underpowered room.
How long does a golf simulator installation take?
A straightforward residential bay in Atlanta is usually one to two days on site once the room is ready. Rooms needing work first, such as a duct reroute, added circuits or floor levelling, add time before we arrive rather than during. Commercial installs run longer and are driven by structure, power and acoustic work.
