The equipment is the easy part. A golf simulator installation is a small construction job with a golf outcome, and the work that decides whether you enjoy the room happens before any hardware arrives. We survey six things every time: ceiling height at the lowest obstruction in the swing path, width wall to wall at the hitting position, depth from the screen back past your swing, floor level corner to corner, every light source in the room, and what electrical circuits reach the space.
Then we install: framing and enclosure, impact screen and tension, turf over a proper subfloor, projector mounting and geometry, cable management, launch monitor mounting, software setup. Then we calibrate, which is the step most installers skip and the one that turns hardware into a practice tool.
Plenty of our work is fitting equipment somebody else sold. Send the model list along with your room dimensions and we will tell you before accepting the job whether the kit suits the space. An overhead launch monitor in an eight foot basement is not an installation problem, it is a specification problem, and no amount of careful fitting fixes it.
Where the equipment does work, install only gets you the same survey, the same standard of work and the same commissioning as a supply and install job.
This is the line most quotes hide inside a single figure, and it is the one that moves your total. A sloped garage slab needs a levelled subfloor. A duct crossing the swing path needs rerouting. A bright room needs blackout treatment, which is cheaper and more effective than buying a brighter projector. An unheated garage needs insulation and a heat source or the bay goes unused all winter.
We itemise every bit of it separately so you can plan it, phase it, or hand it to your own trades. A quote that folds it into one number is not doing you a favour.

It depends on two things: whether we are supplying the equipment as well as fitting it, and what the room needs before the bay goes in. Room preparation is the variable most quotes hide, so we itemise it separately. Send your {city} dimensions and we will price your actual space rather than quote a range that changes the moment we see it.
Yes, install only is a service we offer across {county}. Send the model list with your room dimensions first. If the equipment genuinely does not suit the space, for example an overhead launch monitor in a low basement, we will tell you before we take the job rather than fit something that will not read properly.
A straightforward residential bay in {city} is usually one to two days on site once the room is ready. Rooms needing work first, such as a duct reroute, added circuits or floor levelling, add time before we arrive rather than during. Commercial installs run longer and are driven by structure, power and acoustic work.
The simulator itself is equipment rather than construction, so usually not. Associated work can be a different matter: new circuits, structural changes or a new outbuilding are typically permitted work, and requirements vary by municipality. Check with your local building department in {city} early, and we will tell you which parts of the scope are likely to need it.
Often yes, with the right specification. Below about nine feet we look at your actual swing arc rather than a chart, and we move to a side or floor mounted launch monitor because overhead units need height we do not have. A shortened driver setup or an iron and short game focused build makes plenty of low {city} basements work well.
We specify it and coordinate with your electrician. Most installs want a dedicated circuit, because a projector, computer, launch monitor and lighting sharing one household circuit will trip mid session. We flag the requirement at quote stage for every {city} job rather than working around an underpowered room.
