Commercial Golf Simulators in Miami, FL
We design, supply and install commercial golf simulators for venues across Miami and Miami-Dade County. Bars, restaurants, clubs, hotels, corporate offices, entertainment centres and attractions. Commercial builds run on different rules than home ones: throughput, durability, ADA access, insurance and how fast a bay pays for itself. Florida ranks 46th nationally for golf simulator search interest on Google Trends, which is a useful signal if you're weighing whether the local demand is real.
Season, Demand and Booking Patterns
Ask around Miami and nobody complains about the golf season length. They complain about July. heat, humidity and afternoon storms make June through September a grind, and the practice that actually moves your handicap is the practice you skip because it's miserable outside. Put a bay indoors with real air conditioning and that objection disappears. We build a lot of these in Miami-Dade County for players who golf plenty and still felt like their practice had a four month hole in it.
We get asked how it translates to real turf. If you play Crandon Golf at Key Biscayne, Miami Beach Golf Club, and the Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, the honest answer is that carry distance and start line transfer almost perfectly, and green reading does not. Plan your practice around that.

Altitude Calibration For Miami
Elevation around Miami is about 6 feet, so thin air isn't a factor in your gapping. Set the altitude field to 6 anyway. Two reasons. The default is not always sea level, and if you ever compare notes with a golfer practising at 5,000 feet, you'll want to know which of you is being flattered by the air.
Venue Formats That Work in Miami
Layout drives revenue more than equipment does. In Miami we plan for the group size you'll actually get, which is usually four to six people, and that means seating inside the bay, not just a hitting area. Somewhere to put drinks that isn't in the swing path. A screen the whole group can see. Space for someone to walk behind a swinging club safely, which is both a service issue and an insurance one. Get those right and utilisation takes care of itself. Get them wrong and you'll have bays that technically work and never fill.

| If this is true | Then do this |
|---|---|
| Guests will be first time golfers | Extend containment well past a private bay standard. |
| Dining sits next door | Acoustic separation during construction, not after opening. |
| Golf supports food and drink | Design for dwell time, sightlines from the bar, and seating in the bay. |
| You are leasing the space | Confirm ceiling structure and floor loading before you sign. |
| You want weekday revenue | Lay out one bay for lessons and fitting, with camera space. |
| You are staffing for June through September | That is peak in Miami, driven by heat, humidity and afternoon storms. Roster and stock for it. |
The bottom line for Miami operators. Reliability is the product. Every hour a bay is down is inventory you cannot resell, so specify for durability and serviceability ahead of the last few percent of measurement accuracy.
How We Spec a Miami Commercial Bay
The spec for a Miami venue starts with what happens when something breaks on a Friday night. Every component we choose has a path to being fixed or swapped quickly, and we hold consumables locally where we can. Screens, turf sections and projector lamps are the parts that wear. We'll tell you the replacement interval honestly at quote stage and build the maintenance cost into your model rather than letting you discover it in year two.
Industry warning. Home grade impact screens in a paid venue fail fast. We've replaced them inside a year in busy Miami rooms. Specify commercial rated material and treat the screen as a consumable with a known lifespan.

Next Steps for Operators
Tell us the venue type, the square footage and what the golf is supposed to do for the business. Amenity, attraction or practice facility. Those three go different directions fast and the sooner we know which one you're building in Miami, the more useful the first quote is.

Miami Simulator Questions
Can I use a golf simulator year round in Miami?
Yes, and in Miami the season you're really covering is summer, not winter. heat, humidity and afternoon storms make June through September rough for outdoor practice, and afternoon storms end rounds with no notice. A cooled indoor bay gives you the middle of the day back, which is the part of the calendar most golfers here have written off.
What altitude should I set my simulator to in Miami?
Use 6 feet. Simulator software defaults to sea level, and Miami sits well away from that, so the correction is worth making. Using the two percent per thousand feet rule of thumb, you're looking at about 0 percent more carry than a sea level baseline. We set this during commissioning and re-check it after software updates, because updates sometimes reset it.
Does a simulator bay need ADA accessible access?
Public accommodations need to provide accessible access, and designing at least one bay for it from the start is both a legal requirement and much cheaper than remediating later. We build the accessible route into the Miami floor plan during design rather than treating it as an add on.
How long does a commercial installation take?
The install itself is a matter of days per bay. The schedule is driven by what the room needs first: structure, power, sound treatment, egress changes. Most Miami-Dade County projects run six to twelve weeks from site walk to opening. We sequence against your target date and tell you which items sit on the critical path.
What drives utilisation outside evenings and weekends?
Leagues, lessons, club fitting and corporate bookings. Weekday daytime is where commercial models are won or lost in Miami. Build for it at design stage, with at least one bay laid out to suit a teaching pro and a camera, because retrofitting that later is more expensive than including it now.
